CONSTELLATION APPLES
This series of paintings are constellations: drawings of infinity.
Constellations create shapes and patterns out of stars that are millions of miles away from each other and from us. They only look like something, the Big Dipper or Orion, from our specific point of view. All apples seem pretty similar, yet each maps a different territory: where they come from, how they have travelled to new places, and their infinite genetic make-up. How we choose to look at them determines what we see.
